2025 List
2025 READING LIST Last year, I struggled to find the motivation to read. This year, I would like to set aside time to finish some of the books that are on this list. I grew up with a massive passion for reading, and I am going to work to restore this over the course of 2025. I'm hoping that reading can replace doomscrolling on TikTok. I also feel that if I want to continue to grow as a writer, it is vital that I take the time to read some of the classics. Some of the books on this list are pretty old, and some are new, so I think that I'll have some easy reads, and some that will be slightly challenging. I'll update as I go through the list! Sophie 1. Slaughterhouse Five- Kurt Vonnegut 2. Franny and Zooey- J.D. Salinger 3. A Room of One's Own- Virginia Woolf 4. The Catcher in the Rye- J.D. Salinger 5. Eileen- Ottessa Moshfegh 6. The Secret History- Donna Tartt 7. The Picture of Dorian Gray- Oscar Wilde 8. Letters to a Young Poet- Rainer Maria Rilke
